Power Slap has announced its ninth live event, POWER SLAP 9: Da Crazy Hawaiian vs. Dumpling, set for Thursday, October 24, at Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi. This marks the organization's first international event and is part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, which will also feature UFC® 308: TOPURIA vs. HOLLOWAY.
"Power Slap 9 will be our first international event," said Power Slap founder Dana White. "Every time I bring an event to Abu Dhabi, I aim to deliver the biggest and best fights possible. It’s going to be an amazing week for fight fans, with Power Slap 9 on Thursday and UFC 308 on Saturday. I also have a lot of exciting experiences planned for the fans. The main event of Power Slap 9 will feature a high-profile clash between slap fighting legends. Reigning Power Slap Super Heavyweight Champion, Da Crazy Hawaiian (15-1, 13 KOs), will defend his title against the No. 1 ranked Super Heavyweight, Vasilii "Dumpling" Kamotskii (1-0, 1 KO). Da Crazy Hawaiian recently defended his title for the second time against top-ranked Danie Van Heerden at Power Slap 8 in Las Vegas. Kamotskii, who inspired White to venture into the sport, aims to replicate his first-round knockout from his Power Slap debut.
Power Slap 9 will be available live and free worldwide on Rumble. Fans can watch on desktop, mobile, and various streaming devices, including iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Google TV, Samsung TV, and LG TV, at rumble.com.
