PFL Chicago Results: Brendan Loughnane rises to the top of Featherweight standings

The event, which showcased fighters from the Welterweight and Featherweight divisions, treated MMA enthusiasts to twelve bouts of relentless action both inside the arena and across screens worldwide.

Stepping into the PFL SmartCage with determination, Brendan Loughnane, hailing from Manchester, aimed to make a statement. The former PFL Featherweight Champion lived up to his reputation, securing a commanding 1st round TKO victory over Pedro Carvalho. With this win, Loughnane notched six crucial points in the Featherweight standings, inching closer to his goal of a playoff return.

In the evening's headline bout, Andrey Koreshkov and Magomed Umalatov engaged in a strategic showdown that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Umalatov emerged victorious, maintaining his pristine record with a unanimous decision win in the highly anticipated Welterweight clash.

Gabrial Braga, the 2023 PFL Featherweight Runner-Up, honoured his late father with a heartfelt victory over Justin Gonzalez, securing six points in the Featherweight division with a 1st round knockout.
