ONE Championship will return later today to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, with the second installment of its “Friday Fights” series following the exceptional debut of its predecessor last week.

The main event of ONE Friday Fights 2 on 27 January will see Sangmanee PK.Saenchai and Kulabdam Sor.Jor.Piek Uthai collide for the second time in their careers, following their initial meeting three years ago.

The event will continue to shine a spotlight on the very best Muay Thai and MMA action. Let’s look at three fights you can’t miss at ONE Friday Fights 2.

The Main Event

Sangmanee and Kulabdam are no strangers to one another.

Their initial meeting occurred in August 2020 at ONE: NO SURRENDER III, where the rightly titled “Left Meteorite” of Kulabdam shocked the Muay Thai world by starching Sangmanee in the first round of their bout.

Onlookers expected a back-and-forth fun affair, but that was not to be. Now, “The Million Dollar Baby” has his opportunity to exact revenge and even the score to one apiece.

The bout makes for a relishing headliner at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, with plenty up for grabs. Can Kulabdam assert his dominance over his compatriot once again, or will Sangmanee have the last laugh?

Harry Grech Versus Arash Mardani

A battle of prospects will ensue in one of the two MMA fixtures set for action when Australia’s undefeated Harry Grech meets Iran’s rising star, Arash Mardani.

Grech will step foot under the brightest lights of his career this Friday, but the Aussie star’s confidence will be high. He enters with an unblemished record of 3-0, with all three wins coming by knockout in no later than the second round.

Despite his resume in catch wrestling, Grech has merged his skill set into the MMA with relative ease, but will meet his toughest contest yet in Mardani.

The Iranian middleweight enters with a plethora of combat sports action to his name and has performed once before under the ONE banner against Daniel Van Heerden. The Venom Training Camp athlete looks to improve on the bump in the road in his last promotional outing, while Grech hopes to continue his trend of finishes.

Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Versus Ferzan Cicek

Pongsiri PK.Saenchai has a statement to make in his return to battle following his loss to ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Alaverdi Ramazanov.

Pongsiri came up short to the Russian in the first frame, and now he has an opportunity to right the wrong against his latest opposition. Should the Thai pick up the win, it’ll provide an opportunity to balance the performative books in his favor.
