ONE Fight Night 20 Results: Phetjeeja unifies, Janet Todd retires

ONE Championship (ONE), the premier global martial arts organization, marked International Women’s Day with an electrifying event hosted at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. Dubbed ONE Fight Night 20: Todd vs. Phetjeeja, the evening showcased a remarkable lineup of all-female martial arts contests, culminating in a thrilling clash for the coveted ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Title.

In collaboration with the esteemed lifestyle and luxury performance brand TUMI, ONE Championship proudly presented the prestigious ONE World Title belt to the deserving champion. The main event witnessed an epic showdown between interim titleholder “The Queen” Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom and divisional ruler Janet “JT” Todd, as they vied to unify the ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Title.

The 22-year-old sensation, Phetjeeja, commenced the bout with a display of remarkable speed, landing head kicks and precise right-hand strikes. Despite Todd’s efforts to counter from a distance, she struggled to thwart the relentless onslaught of the Thai prodigy.

Throughout the match, Phetjeeja showcased her superior offensive skills, deftly maneuvering and intensifying her attacks with each passing round. In a decisive moment during the final frame, Phetjeeja delivered a devastating counter right straight, sending Todd to the canvas for a standing eight-count.

With all three judges unanimously scoring the contest in favor of Phetjeeja, she clinched victory to emerge as the undisputed World Champion. Todd, following an emotional speech, made her retirement official by leaving her gloves in the ring.

In the co-main event, ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues successfully defended her title with a unanimous decision triumph over former ISKA Atomweight K-1 World Champion Cristina Morales. The intense five-round battle thrilled the Lumpinee crowd, with Rodrigues exhibiting strategic prowess and dominance to secure the victory.
