ONE Championship Announces ONE 172: Takeru vs. Rodtang Full Card

Over the weekend, ONE Championship revealed the full lineup for its upcoming blockbuster event ONE 172: Takeru vs. Rodtang, and it will go down as one the most stacked cards in combat sports history. 

Five World Title bouts and a once-in-a-lifetime super-fight between two of the most enigmatic strikers on the planet, Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Takeru Segawa, will headline the event on 23 March at Saitama Super Arena in Japan. 

Since joining ONE, three-division K-1 Champion Takeru had only one dream — to fight Rodtang. Their previously scheduled bout was called off. Now, the stage is set for the biggest striking showdown. 

Beyond this epic super-fight, three kickboxing, one MMA, and one Muay Thai title will be on the line.  

Reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai will seek two-sport glory. He faces Japanese striking legend Masaaki Noiri for the ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Title. 

Pound-for-pound striking great Superlek Kiatmoo9 will challenge the young phenom in Nabil Anane to unify the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship. 

Since MMA Goat Demetrious Johnson’s retirement last year, the ONE Flyweight MMA World Championship has remained vacant. Now, former champion Adriano Moraes and #2-ranked Yuya Wakamatsu will go toe-to-toe for the strap. 

In addition, legends like Marat Grigorian, Shinya Aoki, and John Lineker will set the stage on fire with their fights.
