Muay Thai Fight League 5: Shahid vs. Sreejith to headline the event

Muay Thai Fight League 5 is all set to happen in Ernakulam on 13 November 2022. The event, which will happen at the Cochin Sports Arena in Kochi, will be headlined by an exciting fight between Mohammed Shahid and Sreejith.

Shahid, who fights out of Gurukulam, will be looking to get back to winning ways on the Fight League Muay Thai platform.

The last time Shahid fought on Fight League, he produce a Fight of the Night contender performance against Ronak. Although Shahid suffered a loss in the fight, he made his mark on the platform and now, he will be looking to get a win on his resume.

Sreejith, on the other hand, fights out of GFC in Thrissur and will be looking to continue his winning run. At Muay Thai Fight League 4, he secured a win over Muhammed Ashif of Gurukulam to capture the title belt. Interestingly, Ashif is a teammate of Shahid.

Prior to that, at Fight League 3, he had defeated Glen of Combat Fitness Cult as well. He now has a chance to extend his winning streak to three fights when he fights Shahid in the main event of Fight League 5.

Youth Fight League and Inter-School Muay Thai Championship

Along with Fight League 5, Kochi will also host the Youth Fight League 2 and Inter-school Muay Thai championship. The Inter-school Muay Thai championship will happen on November 12, 2022 in Kochi. The Youth Fight League 2, on the other hand, will happen in the morning session on November 13, 2022.

Earlier, the inaugural edition of Youth Fight League had happened in Calicut and the athletes that impressed at the event are expected to be in action in Kochi as well.
