MMA India Federation Teases Major Announcements After Strategic Meetings

The MMA India Federation, the sole representative of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) in India, recently held a series of strategic meetings and hinted at a significant upcoming announcement.

The federation's president, Sharif Bapu, led the first major meeting with Mohammed Shahid, President of BRAVE Combat Federation and KHK MMA, in Mumbai. Following the meeting, the federation teased a major announcement.

"BRAVE CF and MMA INDIA are about to announce something big very soon. The first step was taken today at Hotel Trident Mumbai BKC. The future of the MMA sport and community looks very bright now. We are privileged to have the blessings of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa," the federation stated on Instagram.

Following this, the team met with the Honourable Sports Minister of State, Raksha Khadse, at her residence in Jalgaon District, extending greetings on behalf of the association and federation. This was followed by a meeting with Satish Menon, CEO of Team Punjab Kings, an IPL cricket team.

Recently, the MMA India Federation hosted the seventh MMA India Nationals in Chhattisgarh, which saw the participation of over 600 fighters from across the nation. The event included an anti-doping seminar conducted by NADA officials and was attended by Chhattisgarh State Sports Minister Mr. Tank Ram Varma and Mr. Manmohan Singh, a member of the Ministry Council.
