BRAVE Combat Federation Makes Highly Anticipated Return to Colombia for BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week

Colombia is set to host the eagerly awaited return of BRAVE Combat Federation on August 12, headlining the inaugural BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week, the largest combat sports festival ever held in Latin America. The news has left BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid thrilled as the most global MMA organization gears up for its appearance in Bogota.

As Bogota celebrates its 485th anniversary, the city's administration continues its mission to support and honor sports by attracting international events to the capital of Colombia. This initiative also benefits local athletes, providing them with a global platform to showcase their skills on an international stage, thus elevating their abilities and expertise.

Shahid commended the City of Bogota for its efforts in bringing BRAVE CF to Colombia and emphasized the vital role that the martial arts festival will play in the city's summer schedule.

‘’We are very happy to be returning to Colombia, and specifically to Bogota. The City’s administration has been truly amazing in bringing the most global MMA organization in the world to its city, and we believe that the BRAVE Pan-American Combat Week will play a pivotal role in the city’s summer schedule. This will be a momentous occasion for the sport in Latin America and Bogota will be at the forefront of the martial arts community worldwide between August 10 and August 13’’, said Mohammed Shahid.

The highlight of the week-long martial arts extravaganza, BRAVE CF 73, will feature a world title fight as its main event, marking the first time a mixed martial arts world title bout takes place on Colombian soil. Jose "Shorty" Torres, a Mexican-American fighter, will face South Africa's Nkosi Ndebele for the vacant Bantamweight world title, promising an electrifying showdown. Additionally, Brazil's Flavio Queiroz will go head-to-head against the United States' Zach Makovsky in a highly anticipated Flyweight clash that is expected to captivate fans with its intensity and skill.
