Mini Khabib reveals what Khamzat Chimaev was doing before he missed weight

UFC 279 has undergone some major changes and one of the reasons for the same was Khamzat Chimaev missing weight. The Undefeated UFC star missed weight by nearly 8 pounds and was bumped to the co-main event where he will now fight Kevin Holland.

Khamzat was scheduled to headline the pay-per-view against Nate Diaz but now, Diaz will be fighting Tony Ferguson who was scheduled to fight Li Jingnan.

Khamzat missing weight has led to many debates and now, a tweet from social media influencer Mini Khabib is making headlines. Mini Khabib, who rose to fame through her association with Khabib, noted in a Tweet that Khamzat was drinking sparkling water and eating on the day ahead of the weigh-ins.

“Ran into Khamzat Chimaev He was hanging out at a restaurant for hours drinking sparkling water and eating the night before weigh ins and now Khamzat misses weight . I was worried all night about this when I saw it.hope the fight still happens tomorrow . #ufc279” she wrote on her twitter page.

On the next day, Khamzat missed weight by 8 pounds and had to take up a fight against Kevin Holland.

The tweet from Mini Khabib has caused a flood of reactions on the social media platform with some fans calling Khamzat unprofessional. Some fans even accused Khamzat of missing weight on purpose. Other fans, meanwhile, suggested that Khamzat was probably paid by bookmakers to miss weight as there was a huge liability on Nate Diaz on the books.

Certain fans even drew parallels to Khabib Nurmagomedov and noted that Khamzat is going down the same path as the former UFC Lightweight champion.
