Cristiano Ronaldo asks Khamzat Chimaev to ‘Smesh Everybody’

Cristiano Ronaldo is no stranger to the MMA World. The Manchester United star was earlier seen hanging out with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor and now, Ronaldo has befriended another UFC superstar: Khamzat Chimaev.

Khamzat revealed the same in a video on his YouTube channel and revealed that Ronaldo will be tuning into his upcoming fight.

“He has a game, that’s why he said he couldn’t come. But he’s gonna watch my fight. When he started following me, I write to him, ‘he’s the champ’. Then he write, ‘smesh everybody’… 100% brother. Then I invited him to my fight, Ronaldo. But I’m not a big fan of football, but this guy is big. One of the best guys in the world playing games, football. He’s a nice guy,” Khamzat said (h/t Essentially Sports)

Khamzat Chimaev is currently 10-0 in his professional MMA career and has been on an impressive run in the UFC. Chimaev made his UFC debut back in 2020 against John Phillips and has gone on to win three fights after this. All of Khamzat’s wins so far have come via stoppages.

He is now expected to fight Gilbert Burns next at Welterweight and has already expressed his desire to lock horns with Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Interestingly, Khamzat has been training around the world as well with his latest stint coming at Tiger Muay-Thai in Thailand. The Swede is now training with Middleweight contender Darren Till as well.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has been on a roll after switching to Manchester United. The Portuguese football star is currently the top scorer for the club in the season having scored 9 goals from 22 appearances. Despite a slow season for the club, the performance of Ronaldo has been a big morale boost for the Red Devils.

Ronaldo is known for his love for MMA and Boxing and in one of his previous interviews, he had also revealed that he watches UFC or boxing instead of football during his free time.
