As per the report from MMA Fighting, several fighters from the promotion's roster, with notable names such as Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Devin Clark among them. A total of 11 fighters were confirmed to MMA Fighting on Tuesday, either released, not re-signed after contract expiration, or retired.

Joining Nurmagomedov and Clark in exiting the UFC are Mike Breeden, Fernie Garcia, Luis Saldana, Denys Bondar, Daniel Lacerda, and Mateus Mendonca. Additionally, Mark O. Madsen, Jamie Pickett, and Tyson Pedro officially announced their retirement from professional competition, signaling the end of their UFC careers.

Mike Breeden had secured a finish over Indian MMA star Anshul Jubli in his last outing but it was not enough to earn him a contract extension.

While retired fighters retain any remaining bouts on their contracts should they choose to return, those released or no longer under contract are free to explore opportunities with other promotions. Nurmagomedov, cousin to former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, concludes his UFC stint with a 2-2 record, while Clark, an eight-year veteran in the light heavyweight division, exits after notable victories over fighters like Jake Collier, William Knight, and Alonzo Menifield, but faced recent setbacks with a 1-3 run in the octagon.
