Cannot wait to put babies inside you: Bellator fighter proposes girlfriend

Bellator 293 played host to a proposal thanks to Luke Trainer. Trainer, who fought in the opening fight of the Bellator 293 Main card, got the better of Sullivan Cauley.

Trainer submitted Cauley in the first round via a rear-naked choke submission at the event which went down at Pechanga Resort Casino in California.

Trainer's biggest triumph of the evening came after the fight when he got down on one knee and proposed to his fiancée, Holly.

“It’s been a long time coming. My gorgeous girlfriend is here. Please, baby girl. Come here. Now, I haven’t brought the ring with me, so I’d like to take the ring off and put it back on again. Is it a bit too tight? Baby girl, I love you so much. You are everything to me. I can’t wait to put babies inside of you. Babe, will you do me the honour and be my wife?,” the fighter told during his proposal.

Trainer, 27, is now on a two-fight victory streak following his first professional setback in May. Cauley, 26, is a Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader disciple who had not lost a professional fight before Friday.

Trainer has been competing in MMA since 2016 and made his professional MMA debut in 2019. He started out at Rise of Champions and after which had fought at Euro Fight Night. Later, in 2020, Trainer made his Bellator MMA debut with a win over Alex O’Toole.

He is currently 4-1 in the promotion with his only loss coming against Simon Biyong back in 2022. After this, he had secured a win over Lucas Alsina as well.
