Stephen Loman edges closer to title, Kevin Belingon suffers a setback

ONE on Prime Video 4 featured two Team Lakay stars Stephen Loman and Kevin Belingon fought in the Bantamweight division.

Stephen Loman dominates former champion

Stephen Loman, a pillar of Team Lakay, put up an outstanding performance against former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes. Loman dominated Fernandes over the course of three rounds to earn a unanimous decision victory.

The contestant ranked #5 showed off his strength the entire time, manhandling Fernandes at every turn. While "The Flash" made an effort to make the fight a grappling match, Loman displayed excellent takedown and submission defence.

With a couple of forceful slams in the third round that knocked Fernandes to the ground and forced Loman to work from the top position, Loman scored points. Loman delivered an outstanding effort, winning his 11th match in a row overall and establishing himself as a viable World Title contender.

Back to drawing board for Belingon

With a dominant first round, Kim Jae Woong defeated former ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin Belingon. As soon as the two combative combatants collided at centre Circle, Belingon decided to put Kim on the defence.

The Filipino was knocked out by "The Fighting God" with a powerful left hook, who also sent "The Silencer" stumbling to the ground. In his first fight since moving down from featherweight, Kim continued with ground-and-pound to secure the TKO victory.

Belingon has been on a slow run lately and has not won in his last five fights. The Filipino Veteran is currently 20-10 in his professional MMA career and will be looking to bounce back strongly when he steps into the ONE Circle next.
