Lito Adiwang is busy training in Thailand ahead of his much-awaited return. The Thunder Kid, who fights out of Team Lakay, suffered a leg injury in his last fight against Jeremy Miado which sidelined him for more than a year.

Adiwang had to undergo surgery and subsequently recover from the same over the last year. And now, he seems to be on his way to returning to the ONE Championship circle.

The ONE Championship star last day shared a video of him training in Thailand at Absolute MMA and noted that he is back in the game.

“I'm Back in the Game,” Adiwang noted with the video that you can see below.

While no dates have been confirmed yet, it would be interesting to see what ONE Championship has in store for Adiwang.

The Filipino MMA star is currently on a two-fight losing streak having suffered losses to Jeremy Miado and Jarred Brooks in his last two fights. Prior to this, he was on a two-fight winning streak with wins over Getu Hexi and Namiki Kawahara.

He is currently 13-5 in his professional MMA career and came through the ranks of ONE Warrior’s Series where he had some impressive performances.

A lot has changed in the ONE Championship Strawweight division after Adiwang’s last match as the division now has a new King in the form of Brooks who dethroned Joshua Pacio.

Elsewhere, a list of fighters has left Team Lakay as well including Eduard Folayang, Kevin Belingon, Honorio Banario and Joshua Pacio. Adiwang is one among the notable names remaining in Team Lakay.
