Lito Adiwang set to fight former Eagle FC Flyweight champion Mansur Malachiev

Team Lakay Star Lito Adiwang is prepared to make his long-anticipated comeback to the ring on January 13, 2023.

Mansur Malachiev, competing for the first time in the ONE Championship, will face the Team Lakay fighter inside the circle. His last three victories came in Khabib Nurmagomedov's Eagle FC promotion, where he won the flyweight title and mainly competes in Russia.

Malachiev has won 10 straight fights to remain unbeaten in his professional career. Malachiev has a 70% finish rate, with three victories coming by knockout and five via submission.

As for the Filipino star, Jarred Brooks, the recently minted strawweight world champion, and Jeremy Miado were the opponents in Adiwang's most recent defeats. In the circle, "Thunder Kid" has a record of 7-3 overall, with his most recent victories being over Namiki Kawahara and Hexigetu.

Lito Adiwang's final performance inside the ring was disastrous because he tore his ACL against Jeremy Miado in ONE X. Adiwang will make his comeback to action at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13, 2023, ten months after his career threatening injury.

For ONE on Prime Video 6, ONE Championship will travel to Impact Arena in Bangkok. The highly anticipated featherweight kickboxing world title match between defending champion Superbon Singha Mawynn and No. 1 rated challenger Chingiz Allazov will serve as the main event of ONE's inaugural show of 2023.
