Fresh off his triumph at ONE Fight Night 19, Lito Adiwang sets his sights on climbing to the summit of the strawweight MMA division for his next bout.

Dubbed as 'Thunder Kid,' Adiwang extended his winning streak to three with a convincing unanimous decision victory over Danial Williams in a showcase of his exceptional skills on Friday, February 16.

Following his return from injury, Adiwang has exhibited remarkable form, fueling his aspirations to seize upon this momentum by seeking out a higher-ranked adversary in his upcoming contest.

In a post-fight conversation with Sportskeeda MMA, Lito Adiwang outlined two potential opponents he deems suitable for his next challenge.

He singled out one top contender, Gustavo Balart, who is also enjoying an impressive win streak, or the reigning champion himself as two viable options he aims to pursue in the near future:

“I've been asking for [Gustavo] Balart. If yeah, they give me an opportunity to fight, I’d like to test my skills against Balart. But If I’m not, I’m really looking forward to jump and face the champion.”

Adiwang showcased his complete skill set at ONE Fight Night 19 to secure victory against a formidable opponent in Danial Williams.

His explosive striking and adept grappling proved decisive in a performance that underscored his readiness for heightened competition at strawweight.

Irrespective of the opponent he faces, Adiwang is primed for a significant bout in his next outing.
