Saturday, 19 November, will see ONE Championship return to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for ONE Fight Night 4: Abbasov vs. Lee.

Aside from the ONE Welterweight World Championship bout between divisional king Kiamrian Abbasov and challenger Christian Lee, and the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title fight between belt holder Rodtang Jitmuangnon and challenger Joseph Lasiri, the main card features a dynamic bantamweight MMA bout between Kim Jae Woong and Kevin Belingon

Kim was a mainstay in ONE’s featherweight division until he to future title winner Tang Kai. Then, after a recent shortcoming to a hot new arrival Shamil Gasanov, he lost his #2 spot in the featherweight rankings and decided to move to bantamweight.

His adversary Belingon is a battle-tested bantamweight who previously had a remarkable stint in the division. The Filipino went to battle with former ONE Bantamweight Champion Bibiano Fernandes a whopping four times and at one point held the belt.

However, recent bouts have not been too kind to the Filipino “Silencer,” who is finding himself lost in the shuffle at bantamweight. Belingon has come up short in his last four outings in the ONE Circle, but taking on and beating Kim may prove to be the tough assignment that the 35-year-old needs to reignite his spark.

A victory for the former ONE Bantamweight World Champion would surely see him get closer to the bantamweight’s top five, but Kim will be dead-set on dismissing the 20-9 veteran and putting himself closer to the division’s best.
