Former ONE Championship champion Kevin Belingon suffered a setback at ONE: Winter Warriors II when he was knocked out by Kwon Won II.
The Team Lakay star came into the fight on the back of three back-to-back defeats and was looking to bounce back strongly when he stepped into the ONE circle against Kwon Won II. However, things did not go as per plan for Belingon but he notes that the fire is still burning strong inside him.

"The confidence is still there. The fire is still there. We need to review our previous fights. The results have not been good so we need to review what went wrong and where we lacked. That is one thing to check and we will still work on our weaknesses,” he said. (h/t Sportskeeda).
Belingon further went on to add that he was working with a rib injury ahead of the fight with Kwon Won II.
"I thought my ribs were fully recovered but when I got hit, I felt the pain again. I was not expecting that. When I got hit in the body, my movement was heavy as compared to my other fights,” Belingon added.
Despite the setback, Belingon believed that he had the upper hand in the first round over his South Korean counterpart.
"I think he got hurt but he was hiding it. If you are fighting, you can see in the eyes of your opponents if they are getting hurt or not. Especially with my leg kicks, I’m sure he got hurt. I got one punch to the face, I saw he got hurt. He was still aggressive after that,” Belingon said.
