UFC champion Joshua Van honored at MISMA Fight Night in Mizoram, India

UFC Flyweight champion Joshua Van received a grand felicitation during MISMA Fight Night in Aizawl, Mizoram, in a celebration that highlighted the growing stature of mixed martial arts in India.

The event drew nearly 7,000 fans, who gathered to welcome the newly crowned UFC champion. During the ceremony, Van was presented with an Honorary IMMAF Black Belt Certification in recognition of his achievements in the sport.

Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma was also awarded an Honorary IMMAF Black Belt Certification for his contributions to the development of combat sports in the state. Under his leadership and support, Mizoram has emerged as one of India's leading regions for mixed martial arts.

The felicitation ceremony was organized by the Mizoram State Mixed Martial Arts Association (MISMA) and attended by officials from MMA India.

The occasion marked a significant moment for Indian MMA, as one of the sport's biggest global stars was honored in front of a passionate crowd in a state that continues to play a major role in the growth of mixed martial arts across the country.
