Jon Jones is back on top of the UFC pound-for-pound rankings.
Following his spectacular submission victory over Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 this past weekend, "Bones" was once again given the top pound-for-pound ranking in the most recent official UFC rankings.
Having been inactive for more than three years, Jones had fallen to No. 10 during his hiatus but has since made a significant ascent to No. 1 in the most recent update.

Of course, Jones also has the title of heavyweight champion. But, former champion Stipe MIocic also benefits from a modest uptick, moving from No. 2 to a tie with Gane for the top spot.
Recently, the top two names in the rankings, Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski had locked horns with Islam Makhchev picking up a decision win. Despite the win of Islam, he was placed second in the list as the UFC Featherweight champion Volkanovski had a strong performance despite his loss. In fourth position currently is UFC Welterweight champion Leon Edwards who will fight Kamaru Usman in a rematch next.
