John Lineker gives his prediction for Johnson vs. Moraes III

Demetrious Johnson and Adriano Moraes' titanic rematch for the ONE Flyweight World Title, which will serve as the main event of ONE on Prime Video 10, is currently tied at 1-1.

The American legend returned the favour in August 2022 to take the title after Moraes struck first by knocking out Johnson in April 2021 to defend the crown.

John Lineker thinks his fellow Brazilian and American Top Team stablemate will use his BJJ black belt talents to gain the advantage when they square off for the third time in May 2023.

“I believe in a victory for Adriano Moraes. He has a better ground game than Demetrious Johnson. I believe he will work well from a distance since he has a bigger wingspan, and he won’t let the DJ dominate the center of the cage. My bet is that Adriano Moraes will take down DJ and win this trilogy by submission,” Lineker noted in his interview with ONE Championship.

As for his own journey, is a fight in the United States.

John Lineker is thrilled that ONE Championship will make its American debut in 2023. His thrilling fighting style and talent for massive knockouts have always made him a fan favourite in North America.

On May 5, ONE on Prime Video 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III will be held at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. This will be the first time the biggest martial arts organisation in the world will be seen in person by an audience in the United States.

Lineker, who works out at the Florida American Top Team gym, is aware of the tremendous possibility this presents for the organisation and its athletes.

He is eager to create a dent in one of the most prestigious and lucrative sports markets in the world, and he anticipates that this debut performance will pave the way for even bigger things in the future.

“ONE’s U.S. debut is great news for all of us fighters, and also for the event, which has been growing a lot around the world. It will be very good for us fighters in terms of sponsorship and visibility, among other aspects,” Lineker added.
