YouTube sensation Khabib has noted that he will be working with American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) and head coach Javier Mendez for his transition into MMA.

Jake Paul revealed the same during the latest episode of his podcast and noted that he is working with a big MMA organisation for his MMA debut.

“I’m working with a big organisation right now. A whole thing in MMA that also has to do with me fighting and we’re gonna have an announcement soon,” Jake Paul noted (h/t TalkSport).

The YouTube star has already made his mark in the boxing world and has scored wins over former UFC stars Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. In fact, Jake Paul holds two wins over Tyron Woodley with the second win coming via a knockout.

He noted that he would require a year with Javier Mendez to work on his kicks and addressed that he already knows Jiu-Jitsu.

“Javier Mendez said he would train me, so I’ll go to AKA [American Kickboxing Academy]. I’ll probably need, like, a year, a year and a half to get the kicks down. I already know Jiu-Jitsu. I wanna be able to do everything in there. At least checking kicks. I know how to wrestle already,” he said.

Interestingly, Jake Paul will be seen locking horns with former UFC champion Anderson Silva inside the boxing ring and the showdown promises to be an exciting one.
