After losing to Tommy Fury on points in Saudi Arabia, Jake Paul made fun of Drake for having bet $400k on him to overcome the British fighter on Sunday.

If Paul had prevailed in the ring, the Canadian rapper would have taken home a staggering $1.2 million, but Paul was defeated by Fury on points.

Paul was informed about his friend's sizable bet while speaking at a press conference following the fight.

“F***! This is Drake's fault! Drake, bro, why did you do this to me? No, it's my fault. 400,000 is nothing to him - he has won a lot more money betting on me before. He's probably about even now. Sorry Drake, I'll get that W in the rematch,” Jake Paul said jokingly after the fight.

With the battle just hours away, Drake posted information about his sizable wager earlier on Sunday on social media.

Drake used to be made fun of for his gambling picks; because of how many loses he made, people would make fun of the "Drake curse."

After backing Argentina to defeat France in the World Cup final - even though his wager lost since the game was decided on penalties - and for the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl earlier in February, he seemed to have turned a corner.

But, many will now question whether the Drake curse has resurfaced in the wake of Paul's defeat.

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs won their second Lombardi in four seasons and only one of the 36-year-seven old's Super Bowl wagers was successful, he still turned a profit.

He placed a total of $965k in wagers, winning $1.477m, and pocketing a profit of $512k.

Drake wagered $1 million in December on Argentina to defeat France in the World Cup final in regulation.

Unfortunately for him, the French were defeated by Lionel Messi and company in a thrilling shootout. Also, in November, he put up $2 million in Canadian money to help Israel Adesanya defeat Alex Pereira in the UFC 281. Pereira was knocked out in the fifth round.

Tyson Fury also bet a large sum that his brother will defeat Paul instead.

"If he loses, then I'll lose 100 bags as well. I've got 100 racks on it for an inside-the-distance stoppage." According to The Gypsy King on iFL TV, "I've got him at 3/1."
