India’s Super Fighter, a new MMA promotion, was officially launched on January 29 in Mumbai. Along with the promotion, the team also announced an upcoming Amateur MMA Reality Show, aimed at providing a platform for emerging fighters to showcase their skills. The non-commercial show will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the training, dedication, and competition involved in the sport.
The initiative is led by Founder & Director Shaikh Mohammed Farhan, a well-known MMA figure. His vision is to highlight the journey of amateur fighters and create new opportunities for them in the sport. The reality show, which will be exclusively shot for YouTube, will focus on the personal and professional challenges faced by fighters as they train and compete.
The launch event saw the presence of the core team, including coaches Alam Idrisi and Somnath Giri, technical head and chief cutman Azhar Khan, chief judge Somesh Chafekar, assistant coach Imam Shaikh, and production support Rohit Mahato. Demo fighters Shahid, Aqib, and Vishal participated in showcasing the sport.
Several notable guests also attended the event, including Hindi TV star Gunjan Bhatia (Pushpa Impossible), social activist Adil Ansari, Dr. Fehmida Shaikh, and Reshma Khan from Roots of Kindness NGO. Members of the media were also present to cover the launch.
With India’s Super Fighter, the promotion aims to bring amateur MMA into the spotlight and create a structured platform for aspiring fighters. The reality show will provide fans with insights into the sport while giving athletes an opportunity to gain recognition.
