The Indian mixed martial arts community is mourning the loss of fighter Hrishikesh Koloth, who tragically passed away following a bear attack while working at a remote exploration site in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.
Koloth, 27, was a dedicated mixed martial artist from Kerala who pursued his passion for the sport while building a life in Canada. Known for his commitment and determination, he spent years training and competing as he worked toward his dream of reaching the highest levels of MMA.
Over the years, Hrishikesh became a familiar name within the Indian MMA circuit, earning respect from teammates, coaches and fellow fighters for his work ethic and love for the sport.
LockerRoom Network had the privilege of covering several of Hrishikesh's fights and following his journey as an athlete.
