The salaries for Gamebred Boxing 4 have been revealed.
This past Saturday in Milwaukee, Roy Jones Jr. and Anthony Pettis earned sizable paychecks for their eight-round main event at Gamebred Boxing 4.
Jones, 54, earned the most money on the card, pocketing $700,000 for a comeback he claimed might be the last fight in his illustrious career. He eventually lost by a wide margin and made a suggestion about a prospective rematch.
For his victory over Jones in his professional boxing debut, Pettis earned $650,000. The former lightweight UFC champion, who most recently participated in the PFL, could take another boxing match before making a comeback to MMA.
The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services for Unarmed Combat Sports provided the compensation details to MMA Fighting on Thursday.
"Jacare" Souza received $200,000 for his performance, which occurred after an eight-year UFC career in which he had given up mixed martial arts.
Jeremy Stephens and former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo fought to a majority draw, resulting in a $425,000 payday for Aldo, who also collected a $200,000 payout.
