Cosmo Alexandre makes his long-awaited return to ONE Championship at ONE Fight Night 4: Abbasov vs. Lee on Saturday, 19 November, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium against Juan Cervantes.
Alexandre’s last appearance in ONE was under mixed martial arts rules, in which he destroyed Sage Northcutt inside the very first minute of the first round. After knocking out one of the sport’s youngest and most talked about athletes, Alexandre seemingly disappeared from the fray of fighting.
Because of his powerful hands, ice cold demeanour, and willingness to take on all comers, the seven-time Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion’s return to ONE has excited many fans across the combat sports world. And he boasts a 69-19-1 record in the striking arts and an impressive 8-1 slate in MMA.

The returning striker has just turned 40, but he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down and looks to remind fans just what he is all about.
Cervantes, however, is a worthy challenger with dynamic Muay Thai skills of his own. He has also been away from ONE competition since 2019 but will look at the night’s opportunity to return to his combat sports roots and reassert himself in the promotion. With a 33-12-1 record, the Englishman is looking to upset the Brazilian’s homecoming party.
Alexandre will be hunting for an impressive 70th Muay Thai victory, but to score it, he needs to avoid a firefight with the re-emerging veteran.

The Brazilian’s Muay Thai record in ONE might show mixed results, as he defeated Elliot Compton but suffered a KO loss to Nieky Holkzen. But with a win over Cervantes, Alexandre will be aiming to put a positive point on his ONE tenure and kickstart his return to fighting.
