Matrix Fight Night 17 (MFN 17) is set to take place on Friday, August 2, 2025, at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex Indoor Stadium in Greater Noida, India. The event will feature a high-stakes bantamweight title fight between India’s Chungreng Koren and Nepal’s Rabindra Dhant as the main event. There will be free entry at the venue for the fans but the tickets will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.

In the co-main event, rising Indian star Sonam Zomba will take on Anna Safeeva of Russia for the strawweight title. The card also features several top Indian fighters facing international opponents from countries such as Russia, Tajikistan, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.

A last-minute update to the fight card saw Nadyr Aliev from Dagestan step in to replace Mert Özyildirim in a featherweight bout against Afghanistan’s Abdul Azim Badakhshi, promising a competitive and high-intensity matchup.
