ONE Championship returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday, 19 November, with ONE Fight Night 4: Abbasov vs. Lee.
Having regained his ONE Lightweight World Championship, Christian Lee wants to make history and score a second belt by defeating ONE Welterweight World Champion Kiamrian Abbasov in the evening’s main event.
After losing his belt to Ok Rae Yoon, Lee recovered in impressive form and defeated the South Korean at ONE 160 to recapture his lightweight crown, scoring another TKO victory in the process.
Now, after regaining his belt, Lee is eyeing up the welterweight king, Abbasov.
A dangerous ONE World Champ in his own right, Abbasov is making his first ONE Welterweight World Title defense since shooting his shot at middleweight earlier this year.
Following an unsuccessful bid to become the champ-champ in his own right, the Russian returns to the welterweight division where he has remained untouchable. In fact, he last defeated James Nakashima by KO, taking his winning streak to five-straight victories.
In the co-main event, ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon defends his strap against reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Joseph Lasiri.
Rodtang is no stranger to the ONE audience, having become a fan favourite due to his aggressive fighting style. Remaining undefeated in ONE Muay Thai action so far, Rodtang will look to continue that momentum when Lasiri comes up a weight class to try and steal the gold from his waist.
More bouts are expected to be added to the card as the event gets closer.
