Conor McGregor, the renowned MMA superstar, has expressed his openness to a potential boxing match with Canelo Alvarez, boxing's biggest attraction. McGregor, who made his professional boxing debut in 2017 against Floyd Mayweather, has been intrigued by the performances of southpaws John Ryder and Billy Joe Saunders, who were both defeated by Canelo.

Regarding a potential bout with Canelo, McGregor confidently stated, "I saw Ryder, I'm a southpaw, Ryder was a southpaw, Billy Joe was a southpaw, I've seen methods, I've seen things I'd do. I know he's waning, I'd fight Canelo no f****g problem. Out straight. No problem."

While Canelo has been promoted by Eddie Hearn for the past three years, McGregor humorously mentioned that if he were to face the Mexican superstar, they would have to split the pie equally. He jokingly said, "You know the level I'm at, at best co-promote! At best co-promote."

McGregor has recently joined forces with Hearn to promote Katie Taylor's highly anticipated homecoming fight in Ireland. The event, sponsored by McGregor's Forged Irish Stout and Tidl recovery spray, marks Ireland's first boxing event since 2014. McGregor spoke highly of Hearn, praising his passion, commitment, and knowledge of the sport. He expressed his satisfaction with their partnership, stating, "It's great to do business with him, great to be partnered with him, great to be friends with him. He's a top man."
