Bruna Brasil is a Brazilian MMA Fighter who is currently competing in the UFC. Training out of Insanis MMA 013 and The Fighting Nerds, Bruna has been competing in MMA for more than a decade.

Starting with setbacks

Bruna started her MMA career back in 2014 when she competed in Show Combat MMA 2. She suffered a TKO loss in her debut against Ariane Carnelossi.

Bruna then took a three-year gap before making her return in 2017. She returned at Maringa Fight Combat against Pamela Mara Assis and fought to a draw.

Two months later, Bruna registered her first win of her professional MMA career when she outclassed Aline Pires at MFC: Gold Edition. It was a decision win for Bruna.

In the same year, Bruna returned at MMA Maringa Combat 5 and suffered a TKO loss against Jessica Correa Delboni.

Return in 2019

Bruna wrapped up 2017 with a record of 1-2-1 to her name and decided to take a break till 2019. When she returned, it was a completely different story altogether. She started off a win against Jaqueline Jaensch at Curitiba Top Fight 12 and followed this up with a win over Alexia Thainara at Thunder Fight 20.

Wins over Aline Sattlemayer, Geisa Veloso, and Ingrid Silva followed across Shooto Brazil and Brazilian Fighting Series 2. Interestingly, four out of these five wins came via finishes for Bruna.

Bruna made another statement in the year 2022 when she outclassed Yasmin Castanho at LFA 32. This earned her a spot in the Dana White Contender Series 2022 where she impressed everyone with a head kick KO win over Marnic Mann.

The impressive outing at Dana White Contender Series opened the doors into the UFC for Bruna but her UFC debut did not go as planned.

She suffered a TKO loss against Denise Gomes at UFC on ESPN 44: Holloway vs. Allen and Bruna will be eager to get back to the winning track when she fights again in the UFC.
