As the new year kicks off, BRAVE Combat Federation takes a moment to reflect on its standout moments from 2023. The organization has recently unveiled the nominees for the prestigious KO of the Year award, setting the stage for a thrilling start to 2023.

Leading the pack is Levy Carriel, whose viral KO of Mathieu Rakotondrazanany has earned him a well-deserved spot as the first nominee for the KO of The Year award. Carriel's jaw-dropping flying kick generated millions of views across various social media platforms, showcasing the power of BRAVE CF's electrifying moments.

The second nominee hails from the Wushu Sanda world champion, Mohsen Mohammedseifi. A five-time champion in his discipline, Mohammedseifi continued his dominance in the Lightweight division with a spectacular KO of Noor El Islam. Having secured another victory later in the year, Mohammedseifi is now eyeing a potential showdown with world champion Abdisalam Kubanychbek.

Eliezer Kubanza from DR Congo made a memorable debut in 2023, leaving a lasting impression with a dominant performance against Rayan Atmani at BRAVE CF 72. However, it was his brutal knockout of Adel Ibrahim at BRAVE CF 79 that earned him a well-deserved spot among the KO of The Year nominees.

Former champion Lucas ‘’Mineiro’’ Martins showcased his resilience and skill at BRAVE CF 74, entering enemy territory and emerging victorious against Ylies Djiroun. His impressive combination, culminating in an overhand right, secured his place on the nomination list for KO of The Year.

BRAVE CF fans can also anticipate awards for Best Submission, Breakout Fighter, Fight, and Fighter of the Year as part of the End of Year awards ceremony, promising a celebration of the outstanding achievements within the organization.
