BRAVE CF Announces 2024 End of Year Awards

BRAVE Combat Federation has officially revealed its End of the Year Awards for 2024.

Newly crowned BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Champion Erko Jun has been honored as the Fighter of the Year for 2024. Jun emerged victorious over elite names like Heavyweight champion Pavel Dailidko, Bantamweight champion Nicholas Hwende, and African standout Eliezer Kubanza, who finished second in the rankings. Erko headlined two BRAVE CF events in 2024, securing both wins via stoppage, with his second triumph earning him the coveted Light Heavyweight title.

Pakistani sensation Rizwan Ali earned the Knockout of the Year award for his spectacular third-round KO of India’s Srikant Sekhar at BRAVE CF 85 in Pakistan. The two delivered a Fight of the Year contender in their first clash, with Rizwan claiming a first-round stoppage win in their rematch at BRAVE CF 92 in Bahrain. Ali edged out strong competition from Marwin Quirante and Mohamed Alsameea for the accolade.

Mojtaba Nasiri retained his Submission of the Year crown for the second consecutive year. Nasiri made history at BRAVE CF 85 in Pakistan with the organization’s first-ever Von Flue choke victory against Yuki Angdembe, besting nominees like Muhammad Mokaev to secure the award. In 2023, Nasiri claimed the same honor for his remarkable finish at BRAVE CF 66.

The Fight of the Year went to Anuar Bensayiid and Sino Sabzaliev for their epic showdown at BRAVE CF 89 in Spain. The back-and-forth battle culminated in a late-round finish by Anuar, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.

Bahraini prospect Rasul Magomedov was named Breakout Fighter of the Year, with Monika Kučinič taking the runner-up spot. Magomedov remained undefeated in 2024, including a standout main event victory at BRAVE CF 90 in Austria.
