BRAVE Combat Federation is set to return to Pakistan on August 18 with BRAVE CF 85, part of the BRAVE International Combat Week. This event promises to showcase the next generation of international MMA superstars.
BRAVE CF first visited Pakistan in 2018 with BRAVE CF 17, making history as the first international MMA organization to host an event in the country. That inaugural event featured a stacked card with global talents like Abdoul Abdouraguimov, JP Buys, Gamzat Magomedov, and Jeremy Pacatiw, alongside top Pakistani fighters such as Abbas Khan, Uloomi Karim, Zia Mashwani, and Mehmosh Raza.
As BRAVE CF returns for BRAVE CF 85, the matchmakers have crafted a card designed to surpass the excitement of BRAVE CF 17. The event will spotlight emerging MMA superstars, including Omar Solomanov, Rauan Bekbolat, Eliezer Kubanza, Murad Guseinov, and Mojtaba Nasiri, bringing them to Pakistan to showcase their skills on a global stage.
Headlining the event is a crucial Featherweight bout between Solomanov and Bekbolat, two fighters on winning streaks. This fight will determine the next challenger in the division, setting the stage for a future title showdown.
The card also features African knockout artist Eliezer Kubanza, who will defend his unbeaten record against Salamat Orozakunov, a former Kyrgyz armed forces veteran. Other highlights include Kazakh wrestling medalist Bagylan Zahakansha, undefeated Bahraini fighter Murad Guseinov, and Iranian prospect Mojtaba Nasiri, all underscoring BRAVE CF's commitment to showcasing top international talent.
Adding to the drama is the historic India vs. Pakistan rivalry, which will unfold on Pakistani soil for the first time in MMA history. Indian veterans Bharat Khandare and Srikant Sekhar will face Pakistani fighters Zia Mashwani and Rizwan Ali, respectively, with the Sekhar vs. Ali bout serving as the co-main event.
Pakistani MMA standout Abbas Khan, who fought in BRAVE CF’s first event in Pakistan, will also return to the cage, joined by compatriots Aqib Awan and Ismail Khan, as they aim to make their nation proud.
With a lineup featuring future global superstars, top Pakistani talent, and a historic rivalry, BRAVE CF 85 is set to be a must-watch event for MMA fans worldwide.
This will be BRAVE Combat Federation's fifth event of the year, following BRAVE CF 84 in China, where the organization extended its record as the most globally hosted MMA promotion, with China becoming the 33rd host nation.
