BRAVE Combat Federation's debut event in the Netherlands, BRAVE CF 83, proved to be a thrilling showcase for fans both in attendance and watching around the world.
In the main event, Alex Lohoré made a memorable first appearance by defeating former Super Welterweight champion Marcin Bandel in less than two minutes of the first round. Despite Bandel's aggressive start with heavy punches, Lohoré countered with a powerful right hand that knocked Bandel down, leading to a stoppage by the referee. Bandel expressed his displeasure with the stoppage, while Lohoré expressed his desire to compete for the Super Welterweight title in his post-fight interview.
Noach Blyden delivered a striking masterclass in the co-main event, dominating Oskar Herczyk before finishing the fight in the first round with a body shot. Oskar, who stepped in on short notice, sought takedowns but was unable to penetrate Blyden's defense. Blyden's offense culminated in a decisive victory, marking his fourth consecutive first-round finish since transitioning from an undefeated kickboxing career to MMA.
Striking legend Youssef Boughanem had an impressive debut by defeating Saad Touijar. In the opening round, Saad tested Youssef's grappling skills, but Youssef, a multiple-time Muay Thai World champion, gained momentum and landed significant strikes. He continued this momentum into the second round, winning by ground and pound to maintain his undefeated professional MMA record.
Muhammad Idrisov made a triumphant return to BRAVE Combat Federation with a quick first-round submission win against Zaka Fatullazade. Despite a significant weight difference, Idrisov dominated from the start and secured an arm-triangle choke three minutes into the first round.
In the night's opening fight, Chequina Noso Pedro earned a crucial submission victory over Ali Isajew, handing the Austrian his first professional MMA loss. Ali nearly finished the fight in the first round with a rear-naked choke but couldn't complete the submission. In the second round, after a failed guillotine attempt by Pedro, he reversed the position and locked in an anaconda choke to secure the win, marking Pedro's second consecutive victory in BRAVE Combat Federation.
BRAVE CF 83, held in association with Enfusion’s ECE MMA brand, solidified BRAVE Combat Federation's status as the most prolific MMA organization in Europe and globally. The Netherlands became the 14th European nation and the 32nd country worldwide to host a BRAVE CF event, both records unmatched by any other MMA organization.
