BRAVE CF 82: Nicholas Hwende vows to take Khurshed Nazarov to deep waters

Zimbabwean fighter Nicholas Hwende is eager to test the skills of Khurshed Nazarov when they collide in the co-main event at BRAVE CF 82 in Mauritius on May 11.

Fresh from an impressive victory over Tajikistan's Mutolibsho Akobirov at BRAVE CF 77, Hwende aims to continue his winning streak against Nazarov in Mauritius. Another triumph could propel him into contention for the Bantamweight title, a prospect Hwende is acutely aware of as he eyes championship opportunities. He has openly expressed his desire to compete for the Bantamweight world title and understands the significance of defeating Nazarov in this context.

In a recent interview on Fighting Talk w/ Tshuck, Hwende outlined his strategy for the upcoming bout, emphasizing his intent to push Nazarov to his limits.

"To Khurshed Nazarov, be ready and train hard. I'm anticipating a tough fight, not just a quick one. I want to test your wrestling, striking, and heart. Stay healthy and prepared because I'm ready to face you," Hwende conveyed.

Nazarov enters the contest with an unblemished professional record of nine wins, no losses, and one draw, aiming to make a resounding statement in his BRAVE CF debut. Representing the Central Asia region alongside BRAVE CF world champions Nemat Abdrashitov and Abdisalam Kubanychbek, Nazarov aspires to establish himself as a formidable contender in the Bantamweight division and potentially avenge his compatriot Mutolibsho Akobirov's loss to Hwende at BRAVE CF 77.
