After a hiatus of four years, BRAVE Combat Federation is making a triumphant return to its second home, Brazil. The most globally recognized organization in mixed martial arts is gearing up for BRAVE CF 78, scheduled to take place on December 7 in Fortaleza. This exhilarating event will be presented in collaboration with the esteemed local promotion Victorious Fighting Entertainment, promising to rekindle BRAVE CF's special connection with Brazilian MMA.
Brazil holds a significant place in BRAVE CF's history, serving as the organization's inaugural international destination in March 2017 when Curitiba hosted BRAVE CF 3. The event marked the debuts of former champions and BRAVE CF icons Lucas "Mineiro" and Luan Santiago. Subsequently, BRAVE CF returned to Curitiba for BRAVE CF 8, where Klidson de Abreu clinched the title of the first Brazilian world champion in the Light Heavyweight division.
The legacy continued with two more shows in Belo Horizonte, featuring captivating Lightweight title fights and introducing rising stars such as Luana Pinheiro, Flavio de Queiroz, along with established names like Bruno Malfacine, Matheus Nicolau, Gesias Cavalcante, and Leonardo Mafra.
BRAVE CF's commitment to nurturing Brazilian MMA talent has been unwavering, providing a global platform for local fighters to showcase their skills. To date, 90 Brazilian fighters have graced the international stage under the BRAVE CF banner, a number set to grow with the upcoming BRAVE CF 78.
As BRAVE CF expands its global footprint, the organization recently announced its inaugural event in Spain, marking the 30th nation to host a BRAVE CF show. Fans can anticipate a thrilling conclusion to 2023, with BRAVE CF 78 setting the stage for an electrifying end-of-year celebration on December 15. The year concludes with a grand finale in Bahrain, as part of the third 2023 edition of the BRAVE International Combat Week, solidifying its status as the largest combat sports festival globally.
