BRAVE CF 72: Bogatov vs. Abdrashitov Title Fight Takes Center Stage

BRAVE CF Featherweight world champion Roman Bogatov is set to defend his coveted title for the first time in a thrilling showdown against Kyrgyzstan's Nemat Abdrashitov. This highly anticipated clash will serve as the main event of BRAVE CF 72 on June 23.

BRAVE CF 72 is part of the exhilarating Kombat Kingdom series, marking the return of top-tier MMA action to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Following the success of last October's event in Isa Town, Bahrain, the second leg of Kombat Kingdom kicks off on June 19 with BRAVE CF 71, leading up to the electrifying showdown between Bogatov and Abdrashitov four days later.

Since his BRAVE CF debut at BRAVE CF 46, Bogatov has been a force to be reckoned with. Showcasing his skills and dominance, he secured three consecutive victories in 2021. He made an impactful entrance into the hearts of BRAVE Nation fans with a resounding unanimous decision win over Kazakhstan's Nurzhan Akishev.

This marked the beginning of his successful journey that led him to the championship clash. In a hard-fought battle at BRAVE CF 64, Bogatov emerged victorious with a split decision, handing South Korea's Tae Kyun Kim his first-ever defeat at BRAVE CF. Known for his thrilling performances, Bogatov has been part of two Fight of the Year candidates, and he aims to uphold the tradition set by previous Featherweight champions Elias Boudegzdame and Bubba Jenkins by successfully defending his throne.

Abdrashitov, who made his BRAVE CF debut in the same year as his upcoming opponent, has also proven to be a formidable force in the promotion. Displaying his knockout power, he has secured three impressive knockout victories, leaving no room for doubt in his performances.
