On April 23, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Joilton Lutterbach and Sweden's Andreas Gustafsson Berg will square off in a brand-new and exciting BRAVE CF 70 co-main event. Bantamweights José Torres and Nkosi Ndebele's initial co-headlining bout has been postponed after Ndebele withdrew for unspecified reasons.
When BRAVE CF 70 makes its second trip to Slovenia in three years to once again enliven the Central European MMA scene, Lutterbach and Gustafsson Berg will now square off in an electrifying Super Welterweight (up to 175 pounds) match.
After making his BRAVE CF debut last year, Lutterbach, the top-ranked Super Lightweight, has been on a tear, posting two brutal first-round finishes over top rivals Marcel Grabinski and Mihail Cotruta, respectively. Since then, he has been clamouring for a shot with Eldar Eldarov, the reigning Super Lightweight champion of BRAVE CF and MMA aristocracy.
Lutterbach has chosen to stay active while he waits for his opportunity to fight the Eldarov. He will now move up in weight class to face Gustafsson Berg, a natural middleweight who won the 2020 BRAVE CF "Fight of the Year" award. With Lutterbach's assistance, Berg hopes to win another "Fight of the Year" award. Lutterbach and Gustafsson Berg are infamous for not putting in extra hours.
Lutterbach has a flawless grappling resume and is a six-time multi-division MMA champion as well as a two-time K-1 champion.

He has an incredible 27 finishes in 37 triumphs according to his skill set. For his second BRAVE CF appearance, Gustafsson Berg has amassed 18 victories in both amateur and professional competitions. Since switching to the professional leagues, he has won seven knockout and submission matches in nine fights, suffering just one defeat—a close split decision in 2020.
When he defeated Serbia's Miro Jurkovic in their "Fight of the Year" encounter at BRAVE CF 39, the former IMMAF amateur world silver medalist put the BRAVE CF Middleweight division on notice. He will now look to reassert himself as a threat with another barn-burner performance at BRAVE CF 70, now in a different division.
