MFN 11: Bonjovi Nongmaithem vs. Limasunep to happen at the event

A Flyweight contest between Bonjovi Nongmaithem and Limasunep Imchen is all set to happen on the undercard of MFN 11.

Hailing from Nagaland, Limasunep Imchen will be making his professional MMA debut at the event when he goes up against Bonjovi. Limasunep has been an active name in the amateur MMA circuit and will be looking to replicate his success in the amateur scene to the professional scene as well.

He currently trains out of The Combat Academy Nagaland under coach Khremelie Metha.

As for Bonjovi, he will be making his fourth appearance on the Matrix Fight Night platform when he steps into the ring at MFN 11. Fighting out of Manipur, Bonjovi made his professional debut in MFN back at MFN 5 when he fought Musa Raish.

Bonjovi suffered a decision loss to Musa at the event and late returned at MFN 7 to fight Gajender Rawat. The Manipuri fighter made quick work in this return and secured a second-round TKO win to make it 1-1 in MFN.

A rematch with Musa Raish followed for Bonjovi at MFN 8 and unfortunately for Bonjovi, it ended in a third-round stoppage in favor of Musa.

With the chance of getting back to winning ways up for grabs, he will be looking to spoil the debut of Limasunep at MFN 11 in this North East clash.

Matrix Fight Night 11 is set to happen on 31 March 2023 in Mumbai and will be headlined by the MFN Welterweight title fight between Seth Rosario and Darkhanbek Ergeshev. The card will also see the return of Indian MMA star Srikant Sekhar as he fights John Mitchell of Ireland in a Lightweight fight.

The likes of Chaitanya Gavali, Dhruv Chaudhary, Himanshu Kaushik among others are also on the fight card.
