Renowned as a legend in the world of Wushu Sanda, Mohsen Mohammedseifi stands as one of only three male competitors to have clinched five world championships. However, in recent years, he has ventured into the realm of mixed martial arts, carving a path of destruction within the BRAVE Combat Federation's highly competitive Lightweight division. Now, the celebrated Iranian fighter is poised to return to his first love, seeking his fourth consecutive gold medal in the Asian Games.

Affectionately known as "The Golden Boy," Mohammedseifi has earned his nickname through an illustrious career in combat sports. He has secured gold medals in the past three editions of the Asian Games, held in Guangzhou (China), Incheon (South Korea), and Jakarta (Indonesia). His return to Wushu Sanda will see him represent Iran at the 2022 Asian Games, originally delayed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic but now scheduled to be held in Hangzhou, China.

Despite successfully balancing his careers in MMA and Wushu Sanda, Mohammedseifi will once again assume the role of Team Captain in Hangzhou. The Asian Games opening ceremony is set to take place on September 23, at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, with his pursuit of another gold medal commencing a day later on September 24 at the Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre.

Should the 34-year-old continue his impressive run, he will find himself competing in the final match on September 28. With a legacy already enriched by five world championships and three Asian Games gold medals, Mohsen Mohammedseifi aims to add another remarkable achievement to his illustrious resume.

While his immediate focus is on the Asian Games, Mohammedseifi has kept a close watch on the developments in BRAVE CF's highly competitive Lightweight division. He has openly expressed his desire to compete for the coveted world title, which is currently held by Abdisalam Kubanychbek of Kyrgyzstan, setting the stage for potentially captivating battles in the world of MMA.
