Mike Breeden stops Anshul Jubli in the third round at UFC 294

Mike Breeden secured a huge win at UFC 294 as he stopped Indian MMA fighter Anshul Jubli in the third round in their UFC 294 Early Prelim fight. 

The first round of the fight proved to be feeling out process for both fighters. Both Anshul and Breeden landed significant strikes with the Indian getting the better of his counterparts when it came to the numbers.

Mike Breeden had a cut open on top of his eyebrow in the second round. While Anshul seemed to be in control, Breeden was staging a comeback in the second round and had a good amount of activity to match up with the Indian.

Mike Breeden stepped up gears in the third round and dominated Anshul as the round progressed before stopping the Indian in the third round.

Ahead of the fight, Mike Breeden had showed up overweight for the weight coming in at 159.5 which was 3.5 pounds above the Lightweight limit when Anshul weighed in at 155.5 Pounds. Despite the weigh-in issue, Anshul went ahead and took the fight with him getting 30% cut of Breeden’s purse.
