Alex Lohoré continued his impressive run in BRAVE Combat Federation with a second consecutive first-round finish at BRAVE CF 86. The Frenchman, who has been vocal about his aspirations for a world title, is now setting his sights on the BRAVE CF Super Welterweight Championship as the organization prepares to make its debut in France later this year.

Dominant Performance

In the co-main event of BRAVE CF 86, Lohoré faced Jivko Stoimenov, extending his unbeaten streak in the organization with another decisive first-round victory. This win follows his debut triumph against former Super Welterweight champion Marcin Bandel at BRAVE CF 83 in the Netherlands. Lohoré's swift victory over Stoimenov, who was on a two-fight winning streak, solidifies his position as a top contender in the division.

Call for a Title Shot

In his post-fight speech, Lohoré reiterated his demand for a title fight, emphasizing his desire to compete for the BRAVE CF Super Welterweight title in France. Lohoré, a five-time MMA champion outside of BRAVE CF, has made his intentions clear:

“We want the belt. I said we want the belt; that is what we are here for. Bossman [Mohammed Shahid], let us know. I know we were supposed to take me to France, if you can make that happen—a title shot in France, or even a fight in Paris. Like I said, keep me active,” Lohoré declared.

Rising Contenders

While Lohoré’s call for a title shot gains momentum, other contenders in the Super Welterweight division are also making their presence felt. Eliezer Kubanza, another standout in the division, has repeatedly called out Lohoré. Kubanza boasts three first-round finishes in the division, adding to the competitive landscape for the title.

Future Title Defense

Lohoré's compelling case for a title shot positions him as a potential challenger for Kamal Magomedov, the reigning Super Welterweight Champion. Magomedov won the title at BRAVE CF 77 by defeating Marcin Bandel, and his first title defense is highly anticipated.

As BRAVE Combat Federation prepares to make its mark in France, Lohoré's continued dominance and clear intentions for a championship fight could make him a prominent figure in the upcoming title discussions.
