WBC Muay-Thai India hosts Youth Rules Briefing Seminar in Mysore

WBC Muay-Thai India hosted the first ever Youth Rules briefing seminar in the country on 27 March 2021 in Mysore. The event was held at the Academy of Martial Science in Mysore.

The event was hosted as a run-up to the WBC Muay-Thai Youth Event which is planned by the team to be held in May. This will be the first WBC Muay-Thai Youth event in India as well.

The Seminar was led by Mr. Kevin Alfred David, VP and referee commission chairman and Mr. Syed Tanveer Ahmed, a qualified international referee and judge. Thirteen participants attended the event which was presided by WBC Muay-Thai India President Mr. Vaibhav Shetty and WBC Muay-Thai India Secretary Mr. Vikram. M. N.

The team is expected to drop some huge announcement in the coming days regarding the WBC Muay-Thai India title as well. Earlier, the team had made an announcement regarding the executive team where it was promised that the inaugural WBC Muay-Thai India champion will be crowned soon. You can see the statement below.

“The team will be working closely with the MuayThai fraternity in India to promote the sport in the country and provide the best talent the opportinuty to compete for the Green and Gold belt at the national level and beyond. We will be opening up affiliations for gyms, coaches and athletes shortly as we plan to crown the first WBC MuayThai India champions in 2021. Stay tuned for more details.”
