Below are the post-fight quotes from the event:

Frankie Edgar:

“It’s good to be on the winning side. I heard a lot of people barking that I’m old, I’m slow. I definitely proved them all wrong. Three weight classes, I’ve shown I can compete with the best at 38 years old. I think the sky is the limit for myself. Pedro is a top dog and that makes me a top dog. I’m back.”

Mike Rodriguez:

“I’m not going to say that being in the losers bracket is not motivating, because it is. A lot. But now that I’m in the winning column, you got that taste, you’re like, ‘I want more. I want to win some more’. So I have to get back home, get back to the drawing board and we have to keep working.”

Daniel Rodriguez:

“You never know what you are capable of until you are put in a situation. Now I know what I’m truly made of... I hope to get another fight sometime this year and just finish out the year strong and keep moving up the ranks, moving up that ladder. I just want to fight, it’s all I have ever wanted to do.”

Shana Dobson:

“Y’all doubted me way too hard, but it’s all good, I’m glad I was able to put on a great performance for the fans and get it done tonight. I’ve been growing... I’m going to be an even more elevated fighter and evolve even more.”

Joe Solecki

“The game plan was to fight for every single position. That’s kind of what we did and we ended jockeying for position, clinched and that’s where I tend to do my best work I think, so it played right into my hands and I was just very fortunate. I have a baby girl on the way, but I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to be training even while we’re in the hospital. Anytime they need me, I’ll be ready.”
