UFC Vegas 33 Results: Sean Strickland takes main event, Cheyanne Buys wins

UFC rolled out UFC Vegas 33 today from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. In the main event, Sean Strickland went the complete distance against Uriah Hall and secured a unanimous decision victory.

With the win, Strickland improved his winning streak to five fights when the four-fight winning streak of Hall came to an end. The planned co-main event between Kyung Ho Kang and Rani Yahya was canceled at the last minute due to one of the fighters testing positive for COVID-19.

Cheyanne Buys vs. Gloria De Paula was promoted to the co-main event as a result and it was Buys that ended up getting the win with a first-round TKO. The likes of Jared Gooden and Melsik Baghdasaryan also secured wins on the main card when Jason Witt defeated Bryan Barberena in the main card opener.
