UFC returned with UFC Vegas 11 this weekend and saw the fight night being headlined by the high-profile showdown between Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington.
Woodley and Covington went on to have an interesting showdown that went to the fifth-round. Covington kept an upper-hand in the opening rounds and carried forward the momentum throughout. The fight was then stopped in the fifth-round when Woodley tapped after what looked like an injury while they were on the ground.
The co-main event between Donald Cerrone and Niko Price went the complete distance as well much to the surprise of many. The fight had plenty of eye-poke breaks and both Price and Cerrone had their moments across the three-rounds. The fight was ruled as a majority draw in the end.
Khamzat Chimaev produced yet another impressive performance at the event when he knocked out Gerald Meerschaert in just 17-second. Johny Walker got a stoppage win to his name as well by stopping Ryan Spann in the first-round itself.
Mackenzie Dern continued her impressive run when she submitted Randa Markos in the first-round itself via an arm-bar when Kevin Holland also got a split-decision win in the opening fight of the main card. Below are the complete results:
