UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Gastelum Results: Whittaker gets decision victory

UFC returned with UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Gastelum today. The main event went the complete five rounds and proved to be an exciting affair for everyone involved. Whittaker had the upper hand throughout the rounds and it translated into a unanimous decision victory as well which puts Whittaker back on track for a potential title fight.

The co-main event of the fight night saw Andrei Arlovski getting a much-needed unanimous decision victory over Chase Sherman. Both fighters had their moments in the fight but it was Arlovski that got the nod on the scorecard. Jacob Malkoun got a unanimous decision win against Abdul Razak Alhassan after a three-rounder.

In the opening fight of the main card, Luis Pena edged out Alex Munoz in a split decision as Tracy Cortez secured a similar victory against Justine Kish.

Alexander Romanov, Jessica Penne, Gerald Meerschaert, Austin Hubbard, and Tony Gravely picked up wins on the undercard of the event. The co-main event between Jeremy Stephens and Drakkar Klose was canceled due to an injury to Klose which apparently occurred during the face-off scuffle that happened between Stephens and Klose.
