Post-Fight Quotes: Michelle Waterson:

“There are moments when you just feel like you’re tapped out and then, there’s the next level. You have to trust in yourself, you have to trust in your skills, your abilities and you have to trust in your body to take you there. You just have to bite down on your mouthpiece and go. The strawweight division in my opinion is the most stacked division in the female roster in the UFC... I’d like to get to the top as fast as possible.”

Ottman Azaitar:

“I would say I appreciated this fight more because the UFC gave us the opportunity to be the co-main event and they put such a big trust in us. The fans also, everyone wanted to watch this fight. This is the way all fighters say thank you back to the UFC and the fans… We have to be exciting for people... If you don’t take risks, you might win the fight, but you don’t win people’s hearts. That’s what makes a difference.”

Billy Quarantillo:

“I think I bring a lot of excitement, not only to the division but to the UFC in general. Dana White standing up and talking to me afterward, being excited… That’s the most you can ask for, your boss is super excited. And I’m going to climb the rankings from here.”
