UFC Boston is in the books and the show delivered big time as well.

The major highlight of the show was the Light Heavyweight debut of Chris Weidman and the rematch between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens. The first one ended in horrific fashion for Weidman as he was knocked out by Dominick Reyes in the first round itself.

With the defeat, Chris Weidman now slips to 1-5 in his last six fights having only won against Kelvin Gastelum. Reyes, on the other side, remains undefeated and extended his professional record to 12-0.

The co-main event between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens proved to be an entertaining affair. The action-packed fight went the complete distance with Yair coming out on top via a decision.

Greg Hardy’s fight against Ben Sosoli ended in a controversial manner after Hardy used an inhaler between the rounds. The fight was eventually ruled as a no-contest. This extended the losing streak of Stephens to three fights while Yair is on a two-fight winning streak.

Elsewhere, Joe Lauzon, Maycee Barber and Darren Stewart also picked up wins in the main card. Below are the complete results from the event.

  • Darren Stewart Def Deron Win By Split Decision (28-29, 29-28 X 2)
  • Maycee Barber Def Gillian Robertson By TKO At 3:04 Of Round 1
  • Joe Lauzon Def Jonathan Pearce By TKO At 1:33 Of Round 1
  • Greg Hardy Vs Ben Sosoli Ruled No Contest
  • Yair Rodriguez Def Jeremy Stephens By Unanimous Decision (29-28 X 3)
  • Dominick Reyes Def Chris Weidman By TKO At 1:43 Of Round 1
